*Armor subtracts additional damage, after damage calculations, to the appropriate body part. They also can negate projectiles that do piercing damage so long as their armor strength is higher than the piercing damage. Normal armor pieces have no effect against AoE's. Full Body Armor is the only type of armor that works against AoE attacks.
*Combat Endurance is the number of times that armor piece can be hit in one combat scenario before it 'breaks' or is rendered useless (For example, an Arm Guard is rendered useless after being hit 2 times, as its combat endurance is 2. A Back Shield is rendered useless after being hit 3 times, etc. no longer having an effect.) They are refreshed after combat is over so long as it is RPed being fixed.
*Gourds can still be used in terms of a storage unit, even after it is rendered useless in combat.
*Characters are only allowed to wear a max combination of three Chest/Arm/Leg/Head/Back Armor total. Two of the same types of armor can not be worn together (for example two Chest Armors). Anything that says 'Full Body Piece' can only be worn alone.
